Need...music...

So here's a question for anyone who is interested in answering...
I only started listening to the smiths/morrissey about four years ago (what can I say, I'd been uneducated for a long time), and now, aside from the aforementioned, I don't really have a lot of new music interests. Here's some bands/artists I really like:
-Elliott Smith
-Patti Smith
-The Dandy Warhols
-Sleater-Kinney
-Quasi
-George Harrison
-Echo and the Bunnymen
-Grandaddy
-Pavement
-Death Cab for Cutie
-Pulp
Does anyone out there have any good music suggestions? Don't care how old or whatever they are, I'm just kind of at a plateau right now and interested in investing in some new adventures. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated...

But here are some suggestions based on what you said you like...
-Early David Bowie (Space Oddity, Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, Man Who Sold the World)
    -Velvet Underground
    -Joy Division
    -Nick Drake
    -Neil Young
For more suggestions look at my profile, it shows a few of my favorite bands and singers.

buy, borrow or steal these albums..... (Score:1)
'The Delgados' - "Hate" album. (great Scottish indie band), another album by them worth hearing is "The Great Eastern". If you like to download songs to see if you like them, try finding the tracks "Pull The Wires From The Wall" and "Everything Goes Around The Water", great songs.

'Gene' - "As Good As It Gets" (a best of thus far, brilliant English band who are always compared to The Smiths.....whoever they're, the lead singer is very Moz like vocally.

'The Hidden Cameras' - "The Smell Of Our Own" (new Canadian band), a bit like Belle And Sebastian, 'gay church hall rock' i think the lead singer desribed them as.

'Elbow' - "Asleep In The Back" or "A Cast Of Thousands", another Manchester band...beautiful songs.

I can't think of anymore at the moment, hope i've given you some food for thought.
Take care, regards from Leeds, England.
