As first noticed by SEMISORRY in the forums (original post):

Looks like a reissue of Glamorous Glue is scheduled for 21st March 2011.
Just checked Amazon.co.uk and it is showing on there as well- so this looks official.

From lloydcole.com

What do you think that young Lloyd Cole would think of the old one?
I think the young Lloyd Cole liked Leonard Cohen. And Leonard, in terms of the way he managed his songwriting throughout his life, has been a role model for me. I don't think I would hate it. I think the young Lloyd Cole would be appalled with the current Morrissey show but the old Lloyd Cole says "it's a free country do what you want".

Please note that Lloyd Cole's new album, Broken Record, is his best in 20 years. All Morrissey fans should check it out

Just found this mention of The Smiths in a Deerhoof interview with Time Out Tokyo. The Smiths don't strike me as an obvious influence, but just imagine if Mozz recruited them as backup band for his next album. Then we'd be in business again

A published letter to the editor of The Economist (January 22nd-28th) name dropped Morrissey in a jab at an article on the relation of age to happiness ("The U-Bend of Life", December 18th).
---------------
SIR – Some of your assertions appeared to be at odds with the experiences of my generation. In 1984 a 25-year-old songsmith from near Salford penned “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now”. Now at the age of 51, close to the nadir of your happiness graph, Mr Morrissey is quite perky by all accounts. It seems that by securing a sizeable chunk of change and relocating from Manchester to California, you can indeed buck the trend.

Fluffy news, but amusing to see him referenced in such a publication.
