seems that all dates for brixton are now off!! :(

I just received an email from NOUS PRODUCTIONS, the company organizing the Morrissey gigs in France.

It says, I translate :

MORRISSEY
TOUR OF REFUSAL 2009 (FRANCE)

Morrissey has to cancel his gigs in Paris (June 2 Grand Rex) and Lille (June3 Aéronef).

Morrissey is on doctor’s orders not to sing, to ensure a complete recuperation.

The Paris and Lille gigs are posponed and rescheduled for November.

Original tickets for the rescheduled dates remain valid.

Just received a mail from Seetickets that Moz at Brixton Thursday has been postponed.
Bugger!

in the o2 academy website they say the 28th of May Thursday show has been cancelled.

Even though Morrissey has cancelled his Thursday night show at the Brixton Academy (and, alas, may well cancel the other two, but fingers crossed he doesn't), we're still going ahead with all three HDIFs at the Canterbury Arms. So if people are coming to London on Thursday and now find themselves with nothing to do, they're more than welcome to come along and have a pint and a dance with us!

Sick Morrissey cancels show - BreakingNews.ie

It was inevitable I guess, SJM have confirmed that Tuesdays Gig at the Troxy has been cancelled.

I've just had an email from SeeTickets saying that tomorrow's gig in Salisbury has been cancelled.

No reason is given.

Tickets will be valid for the rearranged show.

Just had a call from SEE Tickets checked on City Hall web site tomorrows concert cancelled.

This is the thrid one I have had cancelled

But not bitter. Birthday show was worth all the money in the world.

In london the weekend hope they go ahead.

We regret to announce that due to voice problems, Morrissey will be unable to perform here tomorrow night (Monday 25th).

The show will be rescheduled for a new date later this year - we will be in contact with all City Hall customers with more information as soon as we have it.
