An anonymous person writes:
Just saw this, in of all places 'The Sun', (Printed in UK Friday) who is the source i wonder?

"IRVING AZOFF is being credited with making the band reconsider their position on a comeback. "

Gold Smiths - The Sun

IT’S the reunion no one thought was possible.

But iconic Mancs THE SMITHS are “closer than ever” to setting aside their poisonous differences for a comeback.

Sources close to the band believe they could headline California festival Coachella in a one-off show next April for a huge pay day.

Morrissey planning to write autobiography
posted by davidt on Friday October 24 2008, @01:00AM

An anonymous person writes:
Well looks like some serious mozza ranting is in order. Hope its well written. We know he can write songs. Unless he hires someone-that would be lame.

Morrissey to write autobiography - The Guardian

Moz has revealed that he is writing his memoirs. What's the betting that they will mostly record in meticulous detail his music industry feuds and animal rights activism?

Morrissey on The Janice Long show - reports / download / Years Of Refusal sleeve?
posted by davidt on Wednesday October 22 2008, @09:00AM

Kewpie summarized the interview from Oct. 21 (in the comments of the previous story, playlist correction by LoafingOaf):
Songs requested by Morrissey:

Dear God, Please Help Me - Marianne Faithfull
If You Don't Care - Smoking Popes
Mighty Joe - Shocking Blue
Roll Up the Red Carpet - Doll and the Kicks
Mother - Siouxsie and the Banshees
Initials B. B. - Serge Gainsbourg
Rachel - Al Martino
One Thing Never Changed - The Pretenders
Goodbye Cruel World - James Darren
Morning Star Ship - Jobriath
Jar Song - Damien Dempsey

Unfortunately Morrissey started asking questions to Janice, she only managed to ask about the album sleeve of Years of Refusal. Morrissey only admitted he's holding a baby.

He was offered to be in a Kit Kat TV commercial, to appear in his favourite soap Emmerdale, but both he turned down.

Interview was broadcasted in two parts(around 0:15 and 1:10), can't remember all the conversations, but after Playing James Darren's song Morrissey's quips are hilarious.

Years of Refusal... cover?
Am currently listening to the Janice Long interview and Janice alluded to Moz holding a baby on the cover of Years of Refusal...

Well, on photobucket I found this.

I fully expect to be shot down in a blaze of wild speculation.

The photo was originally posted and discussed in detail in this forum thread started by Anin (or at least i was):

Down Kill Up Poll
How do you feel about Morrissey dropping the F-bomb during his recent concert in Hamburg, Germany? (suggested by Ken Stavitzke)
I support Morrissey's response
Morrissey could have replied differently
I am undecided
I don't care
The audience provocateur should be examined, not Morrissey's reply
