Message from Morrissey - true-to-you.net
14 August 2008

MESSAGE FROM MORRISSEY.

The slapdash release of Morrissey live at the Hollywood Bowl is done by Warner without any consultation to me whatsoever, and is in breach of their terms as laid out by themselves in an agreement made for the film between Warner and my ex-manager. Being Warner, predictably the sleeve art is appalling. It is the work of cash-hounds, and I urge people NOT to buy it. I am not signed to Warner, and no royalties from this dvd will come to me. Please spend your money elsewhere. thank you, MORRISSEY.

Moz is the new Sebastian Flyte
posted by davidt on Wednesday August 13 2008, @09:00AM

Anaesthesine writes:
Ben Whishaw, the actor who plays Sebastian Flyte in the new "Brideshead Revisited" film, says he was inspired by Morrissey:

"In a move that's bound to wind up the traditionalists further, he also claims to have based his tortured character on the controversial singer Morrissey.

'He said something like, "They get you young and they sear you". Sebastian knows what his nature is and believes he is going to hell.'"

I am devastated to post this email from today .....

with a heavy heart and no breath in my chest i want to let you know that we and the doctors have done everything possible for jerry. even though he did make snail like improvement these past 31 days he is not any better for words and has not had any consistency in the tests that the medical team have done for him. at his time the hemorrhage has done massive damage to his body which will leave him severely disabled and in need of acute care for the rest of his life. we know jerry wouldn't want to live like this in a vegetative state. the family has made the decision to speak jerrys wishes and with draw life support. i am truly devastated don't know what else to say. thank you all for your support through this terrible time. please keep jerry in your prayers! mike

How do you feel about Morrissey dropping the F-bomb during his recent concert in Hamburg, Germany? (suggested by Ken Stavitzke)
I support Morrissey's response
Morrissey could have replied differently
I am undecided
I don't care
The audience provocateur should be examined, not Morrissey's reply
