Morrissey paparazzi - Buzz Foto

Heaven Knows He’s Miserable - Buzz Foto

Now here’s someone we don’t see out every day. Former singer of The Smiths and general legend Morrissey and his manager went to Fred Segal Clothing Boutique yesterday. Morissey seemed rather annoyed at all the camera, but how could he have expected to not be photographed by the photographers that always hang out there? Morrissey needs a lesson in West Hollywood we think - maybe Heidi Montag could show him what’s up. He’d love that, for sure. Morrissey took cover with his hands once he realized that he was getting photographed. He and his manager left five minutes after arriving and realizing that Fred Segal is not a place to go if you do not want your picture taken.

ETA: Here’s some more fotos by request!

Morrissey to Make TV Appearances on Late Late Show - SFWeekly.com

The Moz doesn't show up on television very often, but when he does it's worth throwing a party over. You know, like what lame people do for episodes of American Idol. Bust out the chips and dip April 28 and 29 when Morrissey appears on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. That's right, that's two performances, so prepare extra guac. Morrissey Announces Exclusive Back-to-Back Performances on
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in Support of “Greatest Hits”

“ Morrissey isn’t just any singer: he has become one of the defining rock stars of the past few decades by virtue of his grand voice, his grander songs, and his charming habit of playing with melodrama” –New York Times, July 25, 2007

“ Most pop stars have to be dead before they reach the iconic status that Morrissey has achieved in his lifetime.” –The Independent, February 18, 2008

Morrissey will appear on “THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON” on two consecutive nights, Monday April 28th and Tuesday the 29th. This television event is in celebration of the release of “Greatest Hits”, released on Decca/Universal. This will be a rare chance to see Morrissey perform both a new song and a classic single (All You Need Is Me + Irish Blood, English Heart). “THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON” airs weeknights on CBS at 12:35 AM ET/PT.

“Greatest Hits” spans Morrissey’s stellar 20-year solo career as a true original, and one of the world’s greatest musical talents. Every song on “Greatest Hits” is a UK Top 20 single. Nine of these are UK Top 10 hits. Two new songs are included – the new single “That’s How People Grow Up” and “All You Need Is Me” - recorded with Jerry Finn, producer of 2004’s widely acclaimed Billboard Top 20 album “You Are The Quarry”. Morrissey is currently working with Finn on his new studio album, the follow-up to 2006’s UK #1/Billboard Top 20 album “Ringleader Of The Tormentors”. Morrissey will tour Europe this year and a new studio album is due out in the fall.

Morrissey thanked from the stage at the Love Music Hate Racism show
posted by davidt on Monday April 28 2008, @02:00PM

2-J writes:
Not an entirely new story, but it may be of note that at the Love Music Hate Racism Victoria Park show today (which, we those of us who attended were told from the stage, was attended by around 100,000 people) Morrissey was thanked by the main compere (he was just mentioned rather than being in attendance, however). The compere said something along the lines of you may have heard about Morrissey coming up with the money when someone pulled out, well thanks to him we can all still be here today.

All told the day was worthwhile and featured some good sets so thanks Morrissey!
