Most of you know that we've been hatching a plan to get Morrissey's Life Is A Pigsty into the UK singles charts using the new download rule.

I have set up a website with all the information, the address is: www.getmozinthecharts.vze.com

On Sunday you will be able to sign up to the site's mailing list to receive updates regarding the experiment, including the specific dates of when to download the song.

I'm currently putting together a video to advertise the website on youtube, hopefully people will put the video on their MySpace's and spread the word! MORRISSEY WILL BE NUMBER 1!

Colin Nasseri, co-author of "You, Me and Morrissey" will also be present to sign copies of the book. Sean's "Morrissey" Series pieces will be on display at the gallery.

I have been informed that here in the US this limited run 12" vinyl (1000) has finally shipped from Sirendisc.com.

In an e-mail inquiry as to whether or not this is being released by Attack Records and why this UK release was only available on their site, which only ships within the US, they wrote back:

Steve Wright in the afternoon (Thursday 25th January 2007). He talks to several Tribute bands (Rolling Stones, Abba and the Smiths). The interview is with a guy called Graham Samson from the Smyths. The actual interview is around 2 hours and 25 minutes into the show. Worth a listen, just to hear Graham Samson sing his version of "Please, please, please".

Was listening to steve wright in the afternoon today, on BBC Radio 2, and he was reeling off a list of which guests he's having on over the next few weeks.....at the end he said 'morrissey from the smiths'??
