There's a great article about Morrissey, entitled "Music's Misery Man Returns," in this weekend's New York Times Magazine. The article, which one must be registered (it's free) to read, is here:

I'm becoming mildly worried after reading all these recent articles. If everything's true Morrissey in the last months has been going from illness to illness. First his back went out, then this bug, then he had meningitis and brain scans, then the Harlem mumps. I know the man has never been a health champion but this is becoming too much. Who is his doctor?

Ah-ha! Nancy let the cat out of the bag there. Morrissey claims to communicate only by fax, but he sends her EMAIL.

I wonder what his address is?

What happened to the NY Times supposed great fact checking? It's "Steven," you clods, not "Stephen" Patrick Morrissey.

And though I liked this article, you would never now from reading it that Morrissey is actually one of the funniest, most humane lyricists in pop. Not merely depressing.
