For someone who doesn't get out...it's suprising he went to two major events knowing full well he'd be spotted!

I enjoyed the article, I only wish I knew if it were real. Some of Moz's answers are synonymous in the way he answers questions, such as, short answers. But there seem to be too many long answers that is inconsistent with his past interviews. I have read everything I can get my hands on about my favorite man, Morrissey. And one thing I've noticed is that the real interviews tend to mention his body-language, his shyness, and his wonderful one-liners that flow in a poetic, yet often harsh manner. This interview potrays him as some kind of a public speaker who willingly shares subjects that are so sacred to him. I tend to doubt the articles validity (unless the interview perhaps took place after Moz had many Corona's or something). I know contradiction is a part of Moz's mystique, but I had a hard time swallowing the answer about him not liking his past self. To me, he is still the same as he has always been, just a little happier, after moving to L.A.. He is not a mean person at all, he just says what he thinks without thinking of the consequences. Lets compare, in the book, "In His Own Words", from the 80's, he was histarically comical when putting down Royalty, Madonna, Prince, and others (A must read-he spoke as a modern day Oscar Wilde), he was with the Smiths at that time. When I saw him Solo, Feb. of this year in Chicago, he came on the stage and announced " I have no record label", "I've come to the conclusion that I hate everyone in the music industry". HE HAS NOT CHANGED IN THE WAYS WHICH WILL BENEFIT HIS CAREER, but we still love him. I know I have been too long-winded with these comments, but I must finish by stating this--I will not reveal my connections, but I can say for a fact that the reason he doesn't have a record label is not because of his not having enough hit songs, it's because the companies are afraid to invest large sums of money in him because they believe he is a risk because he is unpredictable, difficult to work with on long-term basis, and he refuses to cooperate with publicity agents, which record companies need to promote him for financial reasons. But, us Morrissey fans will always continue to love him and loathe him.---Yours Truly,---- Hated for loving
