As long i'm far away from LA (12 hours flight), here in Brazil, and since I pre-ordered my DVD two weeks ago... It's great to be the first here, virtually I fell i'm the number one in line... queing up... And David, congratulations for the great job!!!

Hmm... I wonder if the signing is really going to be at midnight on Monday, or do they really mean midnight on Tuesday since the DVD will be officially released on Tuesday, Oct. 17. If the signing is going to be at midnight on Monday then we'll be lining up Sunday night. But if it's Tuesday midnight, then we'll all be in line on Monday night. People tend to screw that up quite often.

Midnight (12:00 a.m.) is actually the start of the next day. So what they probably mean to say is that the signing will be at 12:00 a.m. Tuesday morning (the official release date of the DVD), which means we'll all be lining up Monday night. Right? But just in case, I'll be waiting Suday night as well!

Such a shame that I'll be in LA on the 16th and 17th and NY on the 19th and 20th but in neither city on the dates when wristbands are being handed out. Such is fate. Anyone willing to get one for me? Didn't think so. Come on, I'll give you a photo of his house (but not directions)?!?!

I can't believe the number of people who are apparently not paying attention! Why would you line up on Sunday when it clearly says Tuesday is the day it is released, and you already have figured out that midnight applies to the NEXT day- so you would be there MONDAY nite...and can I say, if anyone is familiar with the wristband format- you don't have to wait in line! I am sure they will tell you when you get it to be at the store just about 15 minutes or so before midnite so as when they call the number (the first number they call will be the number- say 119, and if you have 118, you are at the end of the line), that means we can all gather in a group if we wanted, as long as the que organizes itself by midnight...alrighty...now. What else?

Yes, Morrissey is making money doing this, but it all has to do with what he did with Reprise contractually years ago. They have some rights to his videos and music, and this was their choice to release this montage of videos...It is to some of his fans benefit that he has agreed to the signing: is it just jealousy rearing ugly heads on the board or are people really disappointed that we have yet another way to enjoy him?

As far as getting the wristbands go, sorry to the guy who will happen to be at the right place on the wrong dates...I am sure there are plenty of us who would get you a wristband- regardless of your special station of claiming to have his address; all I can say is, they only give them one per person who are physically standing in the line. Good luck waiting outside his home...you MIGHT catch a glimpse of him if you are that odd!

what are the chances that me and my friends will actually get to have one of those wristbands? i know that many people will be so very disappointed when they're told sorry no more wirstbands! hopefully that won't happen to me!!..i hope i meet moz see you all there!!!!

What are the chances, if you are at Virgin on Fri. at 8:00am, that you will not get a wristband?

I have been told that anyone caught lining up before the appropriate time will be denied a wristband!! Also, Moz will NOT be signing anything besides the DVD itself. :( So don't bring a stack of cd's and such, that pisses him off anyway.

How do you pre-order? Can one do this over the phone or internet? I need to know!! I cant miss work Friday!!!

Today I was at Virgin Megastore Store in Union Sq., New York. I heard the DJ announce Morrissey would be signing copies of his new DVD on Friday October 20 at 5PM. "Oye Esteban" will be released on Tuesday of the same week. Those who purchase it will be given a VIP (I think this is the way he put it) pass for the Friday signing. Didn't see flyers for the event, though.

will morrissey ever come back to his homeland and ever EVER sign here in ENGLAND??

i know he has adopted and embraced the U.S., in particular LA as his new home...i was just wondering if we can see him at virgin picadilly??

well, I won't be in LA or NY for the so far biggest Moz event of this Fall, yet if you'd allow me to suggest a question: someone could ask "who is managing Moz" to anyone around. I'd be glad to hear.

Well I just got back from the humongous turnout at the Virgin Megastore. There were so many people, I could not believe it. I got there around 5:30 am, I was surprised to see that there were 100 or so people in line already. Moz heads camped out, and had quite a party as I could tell. This one guy was still drunk when the line started to move. Although I am very pissed off, due to the fact that there are so many rules to the appearance.

* No camera/video
* No gifts for MOZ
* Only the DVD will be signed
* Wristband holders are not gauranteed to meet MOZ
* Security will confiscate all gifts prior to the store entry

The tickets and wristbands were giving out occording to the place you are in line. Tickets started at 090600 and run to 0990900.
If the last 3 digits on your ticket are 600, you are the first person in line. Well I got number 766, so I guess I'm the 166 person in line.

I was in line next to Jose, we started to chat a bit, and complimented him on everything and so forth. All in all it was cool, I got to meet alot of new Moz fans. Oh hi to Laura if your reading this. I'll be going to the show tonight and record the Hooligans. See you there.

Because I live 3000 miles away from Los Angeles, I cannot make the Morrissey signing on Monday. However, I am looking forward to hearing all of your stories. You must do reports!! :)

when I first arrived at the mega store I was shocked to see sooo many people there with sleeping bags and all! Although it was only six in the morn, the time passed quickly and yes, everyone there was very polite. as people started to buy his and her DVD certificate, I was once again shocked to find out that people could actually BUY 2 WRISTBANDS! I was begginning to think that even I wouldnt be able to get one, though I got #213. I felt bad for the rest of the folks who didnt get a chance to buy wristbands as I walked out the store.
in addition, I heard a rumor that KROQ, L.A alternative station, bought the rest of the 200 wristbands
