Cotchford Farms, the last residence and sadly the death site of Brian Jones, is for sale, too. It's incredibly beautiful. Nearly 4 million USD...Well, a girl can dream.

My obsession with Brian Jones gets stronger every day. It isn't any of the other Stones - just Brian. MOJO Magazine put him on the cover of its August issue and wrote a very nice article about him. Quite positive, too. Most journalist (and books written about the Rolling Stones in general) focus on the negative. Yes, he had problems (who doesn't - especially an artist like Brian) and he could be extremely complicated. The fact remains that he was the founder of that band and they never give him any credit. Especially Keith Richards. I despise Keith Richards. Brian was beyond his years in everything. He was a sincere person. Yes, he could be difficult, but he was still sincere, and I think Mick and Keith were always just very, very, jealous of Brian - and rightfully so! He was very poetic, too. At times even dressed like a poet:

At any rate, I think Oscar and Brian would have liked each other very much.
Thank You, MOJO!
How about a nice, positive feature on Morrissey? A man who, without a record deal, can still bring in thousands of people at one show - 9,000! A man who is granted a key to a city? A man, an ICON, who will be remembered forever throughout musical history? Let's focus on what makes Morrissey so wonderful - his lyrics, the music accompanying those lyrics. The mystery, the coolness, the greatness, the beauty, the power and the bravery to stand up for what is right. You could call it, "Who is Morrissey?" How's 'bout it?
UPDATE: I didn't put that Rolling Stones link in my blog...not sure why it's there.
