I didn't know Adele would be playing guitar at Morrissey's Hawaii show!

A shirt landed next to me in Tokyo and about 4 people latched onto it for 10 minutes until scissors came out. They looked like pit bulls with a bloody rope in their mouths.

I was at the Maui show also....funny thing, when he tossed his shirt, the crowd sort of stood latched on to it without a fuss.
Morrissey handed his mic to an audience member who said, "you decide who get's it".....
whoever got it -congrats! (you were the chosen one).

Two things:

1. Boz's lips are amazing in that photo.

2. When I first heard EDILS I took King Leer's cue and thought it did sound like "fucking" and it confused me all day that he'd go there, but on second listening it definitely sounds like he says "funny." Morrissey tends to keep it classy. I admire that.

Thank you so much for posting this! I managed to get the whole shirt, intact with only the 3 buttons that popped when he ripped it off missing! We ( my friend and I ) did endure a struggle to keep in that resulted in us literally on the floor for a few minutes trying to hold onto it as some guy came out of nowhere and tried to get it from us! But we held on like true Hawaiian Warriors and have it! Amazing! Viva Moz!

1. I agree. Some stellar brushwork there.

2. Listening to it with headphones, you're right it is "funny". He spits it out as if it's an f-bomb (and his reaction after made me think he was surprised at his own vulgarity). But the considering the lyric change after it, "funny" makes more sense.
