Sad, sad news.
Seems like only yesterday she was laughing and joking with Moz, discussing the merits of tea.



An extremely funny lady, quirky and original in equal measure, who will be greatly missed.

R.I.P Victoria

Surely Moz will comment on True To You. This will probably knock him sideways as he genuinely seemed to like her, and vice versa.

Useless information: I had a crush on her back in the 80's when I was a young lad listening to The Jam and out playing day every day during endless summers when front doors were left open at night. That's not a manufactured memory either. She seemed like a very warm and caring person.

a true pioneer gone, how very sad - for me she was on the same wavelength as Morrissey with that coronation street style northern wry wit and down to earth persona that can only be tattooed into you when you grow up in the northern towns of England-god bless Victoria.

In this, the year of celebrity deaths, not many have truly choked me like this one. Such a shame. You can never really know but she seemed a wonderful, down to earth person with no pretension about her.

This is awful news. Her comedy was groundbreaking her documentary spoof comedy her songwriting absolutely brilliant. RIP.

You've been lost for a very long time Steven. Let's hope all is not lost when you find yourself again.
