TTY: Morrissey billboard in Paraguay

Posting up billboards about yourself is a bit crass and surely unnecessary. We all know Moz is famous in a lot of countries. I don't see it helping him getting a record contract, if that is the purpose. Moz should take this opportunity to go off and collaborate with a few different musicians and song writers, maybe even try a duet. He needs to do something new. He's too faithful to his current set-up. An admirable trait but not at the expense of your career.

I believe the purpose may simply be to promote the concert that he will have there on December 5th. I think it is a useful tool to assist in drumming up ticket sales for those who have a passing interest in him, but might not know of the concert otherwise. Now that would be a crowd to watch when MIM is played! What I found more interesting is that he is playing at a Yacht and Country Club...."man of the people"/"against the aristocracy"? Kind of puts me in the mind of a Judge Smails from Caddyshack...he has the sailing wardrobe now after all.

Nothing Morrissey has ever done leads itself to a record contract but he always gets one. Come to think of it, he hasn't really done anything to try to be loved , but he is very loved.

I think this is cool and him showing it on TTY is cool as well. Morrissey wore Morrissey t-shirts in concert in 1991 and 1992, he has always done it his way.

Columbia Records needs to pick him up, they just put out a (not so good) Dave Gahan record, so they surely can do better with these legacy artists!

He will never get another record contract as long as he has a hole in his rear cleavage and he has only himself and his band of lawnmower parts to thank. Yeah nah, I don't get it. This isn't TTY post or news worthy at all. He is a (I loathe what I'm about to say) pop singer/celebrity after all & this should be common fare, but come on! It's hardly worthy of being pointed out! Really doubt he's the one putting this up on TTY. And if he is ...well… He (or whoever it is) needs to:

A. Find a new hobby
B: See a shrink
C: Get laid
D: All of the of the above.
I would've said give up drinking, but he's already done that.

I know this is a part of the 'look at me! I don't have a record label but I'm still appearing on buses, billboards rinse & repeat' but it's becoming embarrassing & frankly, kinda absurd. :/

its funny to seee some unbias one way or the other react to non news. maybe he likes to show people who live in some more out of the way countries that might check out his site that they get some attention to. if he didnt someone would just come on and say hey he only pots pics of billboards in first world nations cause he dosent like us. if i was living there and saw on tty that he was happy and proud to have a billboard up in my country itd make me smile and maybe remember or just feel good about it. as to his career and his secret angles i mean come on, its a pretty silly notion and indicative of where there mind is at rather than his
