How Soon is Now? may have been played - just happened to see something about it on Twitter.

Yes, How soon is now was played and it was by far the best song played tonight in Lausanne.

Yes, it was, dedicated to Capucine, an actress and model originary from Lausanne.

He was in good form, but the venue was too big, crowd too boring and the show was imho a bit cold, specially the central part.

Brilliant concert, thank you very much. Didn't expect to hear Hillaire Belloc's name pronounced tonight. Classy to have a gong set up just to have it played one single bang. Mr Boz Boorer was fantastic throughout, especially on How soon is now. The beautiful city of Lausanne hosts a circus with live animals, not a good idea. But Lausanne has also a very romantic dog cemetery, right behind Beau Rivage.

Here is the setlist (alphabetical order)

Alma Matters
Everyday is Like Sunday
Ganglord
How soon is now
I Will See You in Far Off Places
I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris
Istanbul
Kiss Me a Lot
Meat is Murder
Oboe Concerto
Reader Meet Author (not sure...)
Speedway
Staircase at the University
Suedehead
The Bullfighter Dies
The Queen is Dead (encore)
What She Said
World Peace is None of Your Business
Yes, I Am Blind
You Have Killed Me

I wish it was August 95 again. Everything about Southpaw was bloody grand.

take that it was far from being sold out. again.

Uncleskinny: "Southpaw Grammar was a Zenith. A highpoint. Quality songwriting."

The prophetic words, yes, yes:

There's too many people
Planning your downfall
When your spirit's on trial
These nights can be frightening
Sleep transports sadness
To some other mid-brain
And somebody here
Will not be here next year
So you stand by the board
Full of fear and intention
And, if you think that they're listening
Well, you've got to be joking
Oh, you understand change
And you think it's essential
But when your profession
Is humiliation
Say the wrong word to our children...
We'll have you, oh yes, we'll have you
Lay a hand on our children
And it's never too late to have you
Mucus on your collar
A nail up through the staff chair
A blade in your soap
And you cry into your pillow
To be finished would be a relief

You could have chosen a song which didn't have an enormous sample running most of the way through it to make your point. Southpaw was a very decent album in retrospect, and if Sunny and Nobody Loves Us had made it on it would have been a gem.

As always I don't remember everything - beer is my little devil :)
So just a setlist starter :

Suedehead
Alma Matters
Speedway
Ganglord
Staircase at the University
Kiss me a lot
I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris
You have killed me

'How soon is now' was played and my favorite tonight, love it!
Managed to get nearly to front,,danced & sang a lot.
The Video to meat is murder seem to be changed a bit (already noticed in cologne), even more shocking now.
Stränge to meet an american girl in a Lausanne bar (I'm still here) screaming due to my Moz shirt and when i asked her if she was at the show too she was shocked as she didn't know about todays concert. Life is strange...

what's wrong with it? He does a good job.

Really? He butchered the hell out of every solo. As for the reply below yours about having high standards, sure, why not?
When you take on the role of professional touring musician, you should have high standards and play well.
Given the incredible catalogue of music he has been hired to play, he should approach it with a lot more respect and finesse than he does.

If you're concentrating on Jesse, you've missed the point of Morrissey. Morrissey is about Morrissey, not the band. The band are nice, but it's Morrissey we come to see, just like The Smiths. Jesse plays fine. He's actually gotten a lot better too, open up your tunnel vision and just enjoy. You're concentrating on the wrong things in life. My advice is to get laid or commit some crime, you'll feel better, I hope.
