SiriusXM is broadcasting Firefly Music Festival June 18-21

So somebody will be able to record this, right? That should hopefully be good. Here's hoping the setlist is re-spruced again with "Will Never Marry," "Now My Heart is Full," et al.

That's the plan...

(but you never know which bands they will chose to broadcast)

Is the Firefly festival animal friendly ?
Or is it just another meat and dairy food fest like the F Y F Festival !

It seems strange that Silly Steven would perform at these giant barbecues after his outburst on the Glastonbury festival not being animal friendly.

Would anyone like to have a go at explaining the logic behind all this hypocracy ?

Thanks

Bad news. According to this site, there will be no Moz broadcast:

No Macca either.

Yes for Modest Mouse, Cage The Elephant, Gary Clark Jr., Foster The People, Spoon, Kings Of Leon, Hozier, The Killers, and more.

No macca or moz, what bastards, My two faves getting passed by. What are they thinking macca and moz are the headliners. I would go to this show, but its to far away

Also strange that the Saturday and Sunday headliners - Kings of Leon and The Killers - are being broadcast.

Oh well...

It really rustles my jimmies that Sirius did not broadcast any of Morrisey's set. They are only marginally better than terrestrial radio at this point. If it wasn't for Howard Stern I would cancel my subscription. Their music programming has been in decline ever since the XM merger.

Don't they need permission from the artist's management? Otherwise, they surely would have broadcast McCartney.

Fair point. I'll retract my surly comment if it turns out that Morrissey did not give permission for Sirius to broadcast his performance.
