Not sure what to say... That begun (beforehand) as the worst Moz gig I've ever attended (long story re the front row)... But it ended as the greatest, and perhaps just one of those moments you never, ever, forget.

I will try and elaborate later, but right at the end, Morrissey reached out to me and took the note I had scribbled to him before leaving home tonight, pouring my little heart out. He started the gig with The Queen Is Dead.

I'm kind of walking on air. The strange thing is, I'm all alone.

For f***'s sake. Between Tuesday and Saturday, Wednesday night people really got screwed over set-list wise :(

I should say, my want of a better set-list isn't another cry for "play the hits!" but more of the obscure stuff. My Dearest Love, Certain People etc... but still very happy, the new album is still in high rotation in plays for me. I love almost all of it. I could just do without Paris, FOTGD, MIM, Sunday etc... just heard them too often.

Which is odd because he barely tours here so I am grateful for anything, Wednesday was amazing. But I'm Australian, complaining is what we do best (we just like to disguise it by calling it being a "battler").

I think this was the best show of the three so far, Morrissey was in very good spirits, saw a lot of cheeky grins to himself.

Amazing voice and band but Moz left a lot of people flat tonight. No one is expecting a greatest hits show but the self indulgence to play so few genuine fan favourites leaves a show that is not worth the money. Better to go out and but a copy of Rank and a good bottle of red....

Great voice and band but Moz let a lot of fans down tonite with a very hit and miss (mostly miss) song list. Save yourself the money and go buy Rank. No one expects a greatest hits night but more than two thirds of the set list were yawn filler tracks.

Props to the long haired guy who got the only hug of the night - and he came down from the circle completely evading both bouncers.

How can Now my heart is full be song of the night when he opened with The Queen Is Dead. Would have loved to see that Tues or Wed.

I'm assuming that Julia was the issue?

This isn't a Billy Joel concert. You're embarrassing yourselves with these stupid "he didn't play enough hits" comments. How about some real fans give a detailed summary of the night...like I do after Morrissey shows.

don't want to upset anyone, but some of you want to live in the past, he has new material and quite rightly wants to sing it, this could possibly be his last trip to Australia, just be happy you saw such an awesome singer.. best regards, Manc Lad

You still spreading stories about how he's dying? f*** off.

Problem with that suggestion is that everyone's idea of "fan favourites" is totally different (I would say leave out all Smiths songs, but I'm sure others would want more Smiths). It's not like you can point to a batch of Top 10 Hits. Plus you know from past experience that his setlists tend to favour the new material over old.

"Go and buy a copy of Rank" - so what you really wanted, obviously, was a night of Smiths greatest hits...? Dream on!

LET ME GUESS. THEY WERE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF STAGE (in the front row). I DON'T MIND JULIA. SHE DESERVES TO BE IN FRONT BUT THE OTHERS.....
