SO f***ING HAPPY that this Philly date turned out to be legitimate.

Interesting choice...I checked out the seating map and it appears there is a big orchestra pit in front of the stage and that it is all seating. What will the irregular regulars do? Quite different from the pictures we were treated to from the standing venues in Europe. It is also quite a "stuffy" place mainly used for classical music performances. No place to shout out lyrics and spill a bit of beer IMHO.

Who wants to take odds that Nashville gets cancelled?? It is not even a 1/3 sold. Everybody knows the majority of ticktes are sold the day they go on sale and some in the days leading up to the concert. Don't see them selling especially in Nashville where the music business gets everything for free and they won't pay to see anyone. This is all a real shame since I have front row!! :(

Who do you think would be doing the cancelling? Morrissey or the promoter? The notion that shows get cancelled due to low ticket sales is such a misnomer.

I saw Morrissey in Nashville just last year and the place was rocking. Great show.

I was gonna say... are we just ignoring Morrissey's official statement that this isn't his official facebook page?

True To You has never been known to post something without Morrissey's approval, it's maximally reliable. And through that site, Morrissey said he had not official facebook page.

someone should just ask him if he runs or is affiliated with an unofficial Morrissey facebook

One of the best shows I had seen was Paul Young, half full. Makes it more intimate.
. I would love to go to a show where it wasn't crowded.

The DC venue is crap. No parking, no sight lines, terrible neighborhood. Please move it.

Agree, it looks terrible (though I've never been there). From pics on their site looks like a massive 9:30 Club. Quite a downgrade from Lincoln Theatre where he was to have played last June. I'm happy to have him here of course, but he deserves better.

Such an awful part of town that I refuse to go. Very unsafe, huge chance that you get mugged or have your car broken into.
Not work the risk, not even for Morrissey. I won't go.

been there a bunch mostly for edm but the venue is very new and a lot of money went into the structure. voted number three venue for rave dance music in America I believe and the stage is really low which I love when seeing a band. its a modern club and not an antique theatre or opera house. as for the neighborhood, ove never felt threatened or had my car broken into there or at 9:30

Nice one! I love the Echostage. That's the perfect place to see a show like this. It should be absolute mayhem. Everything there sounds great and ends up turning into a party. Just my preference, but I always like my Moz shows rockin. Hate it when the crowd is stiff.

I just saw the Replacements at Echostage a week ago. The neighborhood is fine. You'll be fine.
