Michael Shannon to Perform the Smiths' The Queen Is Dead in Full ("Boardwalk Empire" star will be joined by Superchunk's Jason Narducy)

Michael Shannon is best known for his acting work on "Boardwalk Empire", Revolutionary Road, and Man of Steel. He's also a musician, and on June 6, he and a band will perform the Smiths' classic 1986 album The Queen Is Dead at the Evanston, Ill. venue SPACE.
The band's lineup includes Jason Narducy (Bob Mould, Superchunk), Dag Juhlin (Poi Dog Pondering), Gerald Dowd (Robbie Fulks), and Curt Morrison (Tributosaurus).

Re: Michael Shannon to perform The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths in full live

Someone on twitter seriously suggested that he should play Moz in a biopic. Well, as much as I like Shannon as an actor, I do find him a bit creepy at times. So, I don't agree with that choice. By the way, how is that biopic going? You don't hear much about it ...
