"Kiss Me A Lot" on iTunes Friday (Mar. 27, 2015)

UPDATE Mar. 25, 9:25 AM PT:

Morran sends the link:

'Kiss Me A Lot' release - true-to-you.net
25 March 2015

Morrissey's Kiss Me A Lot will be newly available on iTunes from the evening of March 26th onwards.
Morrissey has commented:

"I humbly ask for all and any support with this download release, which, has always been waiting in the wings if not for unpleasant circumstances familiar enough not to be repeated here. Thank you to Atom Factory for making this happen, and here's to sound reason, good times, and music that matters."

TTY POST DELETED - Morrissey Electra Deal
I don't have any proof, I did not screenshot it in time.

It was only a few lines.

It said something on the lines of: Morrissey has signed a deal with Electra Records.
It had a few extra things but I cannot recall.

I went on the site and saw the news rushed on here, no news. Went to TTY to copy it and it was gone!

Announced in Belfast.

Explains Alan Carr.

Any b-sides?

Re: Kiss Me A Lot on iTunes Friday

Does this mean he has signed a deal?

Re: Kiss Me A Lot on iTunes Friday

It will be something like this:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/last-famous-international/id680629175

Virtually it is a live version of Kiss Me A Lot.
Since WP is not on iTunes this will be a single on its own thus more popular.

I predict 99p and it could be Electra or someone else.

These things are often quite common, but we shall wait and see but I feel am i right.

I'm confused. It was already released as an album track.

Yeah but the album was removed from iTunes because of the split with Harvest. So I'm assuming the only way it can be available on iTunes as a single is if Moz has signed to a new label and is planing on re-releasing the album with them.

Maybe he's just using an online distribution site and is releasing it on his own.

Any band/artrist can get their album online for $19.99 using a site like distrokid.com

Re: Kiss Me A Lot on iTunes Friday

Well, Morrissey released in 2013-4 a stand-alone single of "Satellite of love" on Parlophone. Why doesn't he do the same now?

Re: Kiss Me A Lot on iTunes Friday

likely the live version. you dont need a label to upload something to itunes, you just do it.

I don't think so. He said more than twice that he's not the Do It Yourself type. But, if he has a deal I think he would post it at the TTY...

Re: Kiss Me A Lot on iTunes Friday

If it is the version recorded in Paris, there is already a video:

whats the use of having a label just to post it on itunes? it was already recorded live by his soundman, he would be giving money away.

Fan-made video though.

Re: Kiss Me A Lot on iTunes Friday

Yep, said tonight it is technically his new single, if we were feeling benevolent, be so.

Re: Kiss Me A Lot on iTunes Friday

Yea! Moz Kiss me A lot is a gem. Nothing keeps this man down. You are my hero Mozza.

If Morrissey owns the recording of Kiss Me A Lot it is nothing to do with Harvest. He can do with it whatever he chooses. Good on him for getting this organised. Part of me still wonders whether he was recording new stuff recently in America and there is a deal with Elektra.
