Nice of TTY to clarify what a sell-out means.

Two emails from Sydney Opera House on Monday:
4:31pm - CONGRATULATIONS: You have been Successful in the Morrissey Ballot
8:35pm - Ballot Application Unsuccessful

Very exciting news, looking forward to money leaving my account within 48hrs which is coming up in the next few hours. No indication of which date or the number of tickets yet.

I am not Julia. I'm probably the weight equivalent of three Julias. And Damon. And a box of copy paper from Staples.

The Sydney Opera House seats 5,738 according to their website. So the demand for Moz was more than 22,952...not bad!

Sydney Opera House has a capacity of 5,738. So all up 22,952 tickets sold.

I looked up the technical specs for the Concert Hall and it advises that the capacity for an amplified concert is around 2100 in front of the stage.

Yes, thanks for correcting me. I was looking at the overall capacity. But, as you mentioned, the Concert Hall has over 2000 seats. Very intimate shows indeed.

Australia haven't had to put up with his antics so they're the newbies of late.
A few bouts of the flu and other bollocks will sort all that, it's no biggie they sold out really he only puts his toe down there now and then, I'm sure he can always look to Canada when things get really bad.

Hey all, so super excited about this show. Am going to the Saturday show from Melbourne with about 15 of my friends. It's going to be big.

IMPORTANTLY: I have four tickets in A Reserve Stalls ($129 each) for the Sunday night. If anyone's interested, please let me know! Please email me on [email protected].

:) :) :) can't wait for May now.

Well if he gets 'A few bouts of the flu and other bollocks' we can always get a refund. What is your point exactly?

There is a thing called The Internet, Benny - and you should know since you spend most of your sad f***ing life on it - so I think it extremely unlikely that any Morrissey fans down under would be unaware of his history of illness/cancellations which after all is not a new thing but has been going on throughout much of his career. Seems as though Aussie fans - like pretty much everyone else around the world (apart from you, Bummie, Skinny and Barleycunt obviously) - don't give a f*** and book tickets regardless. More evidence that your "insights" are redundant and your pathetic little four-man vendetta continues to fail.

It's perfectly possible to sell all tickets without an event being massively over-subscribed, so it's not a superfluous comment at all. Nice try though; Skinny will be proud of you.
