why? cafes run successfully all the time so why would one that operates as a slash moz museum moz themed cafe be any different? mostly its the owners own stupidity that ruins self owned small businesses. at this point im thinking of what the name should be as the food costs overhead etc are very standard mostly after securing a location and leasing costs. mozzers could work. sounds like a persons name even if you dont know who he is. for fun you could use initials s.m and call it the S&M which would be very ironic imo and really funny. huma's would also be funny with two bathrooms both labeled huma (im a person).

There is a serious trademark issue here.

The Smithsonian trademark is based on the trade of museums. This isn't going to end well... If it ever begins.

i took that to be just a joke and the name of the donation project and not the actual working name for the museum because that would for sure be a lawsuit. just make one room a cafe that plays the smiths music and another that actually has the museum with listen booths/stalls record art pics and write ups with one knowledgeable custodian for questions and security. as for the cafe take the suggestions i already mentioned and add some more better ones. make it only play smiths music for sure but you could also have a cheap tablet hookup in each booth that allows the table to add one song to the cafe playlist per one hour with a default playlist set up if no one requests. the cafe would pay for the museum and itself while you could use your collection to start the museum and im sure you could acquire more from others that would want to join in especially some photogs whod want to use it to promote themselves as well for extra motivation. if your not looking to make any profit it could work pretty easily and grow. hell, have some smiths cover bands for events on an occasional night. i dont see why a cafe couldnt pay for the costs of the museum after returning the initial investment. why couldnt it work. if you wanted to add a fun level to it you could take photos like the one with his penis covered by the record and put the title i keep mine hidden and then have a summary essay discussing his sexuality for instance and how his thoughts words on it have evolved over the years using interview excepts highlighting mozs own words/quotes in a different color etc. why wouldnt any of this work. its just start up investment thats needed and a person who knows how to buy and run a cafe since a lot of the content seems to owned already. just a small staff and a location and youre good. i go into sports bars and other places like this all the time so i think it could work. why not? hell if youre not looking for profit then donate any extra money it generates into an animal rights cause and you could even get mozs approval itself perhaps with maybe him donating a letter or something such. have him sign the veggie menu if he would
