Tom Chaplin of Keane covers "Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself?"

This sounds horrible! Is he high on crack or something?

I'm still trying to forgive Keane for murdering 'Dinner at Eight' but I think this is a tad better. Still it always makes me remember whenever I hear a cover just how unique and memorable Morrissey's voice is.

toms voice isnt suited for this song and when you take the swing out of the music it doesnt have as much impact lyrically. a neat attempt and i loved keanes first album. breakes my heart every time i listen to it

This cover makes me sick down to my heart, but that's just the way it goes.

Lovely ballad from the singer from Keane who got 23 more albums sold the first week than 'You are the Quarry'

'and they say he's mental' .... never ever heard that Keane album, but this is great to sing-a-long-on-loud...

And just how redundant it is to cover a Morrissey song.

I managed until 1:02 and could take no more. I don't think anyone can take a Morrissey song and raise the bar.

If you sound great in the church choir it doesn't mean you can cover Morrissey songs. He can't even understand what he is singing about.

it had some great songs on that first album but i think people forget that the pianist wrote like all the lyrics and music. i used to love the line "they say some things never dies, well i tried yeah i tried".

still listen to it all the time

Thank goodness that I'm not the only one who didn't like this version. I give him a thumbs up for making an effort, but he reminded me of Kermit with those vocals.
