Irish folk duo Hudson Taylor recall meeting Morrissey in Dublin (and photo)

An anonymous person writes:

Came across this short paragraph on new Irish band Hudson Taylor meeting Morrissey in Dublin. Not much detail, but there's a nice photo. I reckon it dates from around 2012 when Moz spent about a week in Dublin. (editor note: see related story from 2011)

Excerpt:

Tell us the story behind meeting Morrissey while you were busking (above pic)

Well, we'd just finished busking, actually, and we were going for a pint in Grogan's on South William Street. He walked by, and our older sister actually said to us, 'Lads, there's Morrissey!'. We asked him what he was doing in Dublin, and in classic Morrissey fashion, he pointed at a bike and said 'Ohh, I'm just on me bike'. (laughs) That was it - no other worldly advice. It's mad, 'cos there's another layer to the story: our older brother, who lives in London, plays bass in a Smiths tribute band called The Smyths.

I'ms is reckon that those flock of seagulls bokes are wearing LEATHER. Blood crykey!

Yawn yawn yawn. You and Benny should meet up and just bore the pants off each other instead of clogging this board with endless
predictable leather, cheese , meat posts.

Benny and BB were nowhere to be seen when Moz had the soy latte.

Yes, indeed, how does he walk around with that thing? xx

I have a big head. Buying a hat is a bitch, especially a cute hat for women. No cute hats for Amers. :(

(OT: I just want one of these with the little bill...every time I try and every time no go.)

dunno about these guys, havent' heard them, but what I do know that their bro Simon in the Smyths is a wizard on the bass. If Moz and Johnny ever get back together, I vote for this guy to step in and help out
