Don't know why he abandoned the quiff. It was quite nice.

Sporting a mop top in your 50s is just sad.

I really don't like his hair now it's very aging. Moz has had the same hairdo for 32 years and he still looks great with it.

Re: new 20 minute interview with Johnny

When he was going on about Rock 'n' Roll and songwriting. I see now why Moz did all the talking, still my favourite guitar player though.

gotcha gotcha. didnt know if you meant the movie with two names. i think bernard of suede/mcalmont/duffy etc fame is my favis my favorite guitarist for many reasons

^when I saw him at the 9:30 club back in Nov my wife and I thought he looked like Al Pacino in Scarface

His hair looks like a Frankenstein wig, and jet black on a person that age is not flattering, sorry.

He looks like he should be playing lead guitar in Beady Eye. He obviously dyes his hair.

Everyone in the Smiths was of Irish descent, not like U2 where only the drummer is Irish.

Absolutely surreal to see Johnny watching Smiths-era interviews on his phone and talking about himself in third person. "There's a bunch of people around he's just got to f*** off. People will read too much into that..". Well of course we will, Johnny, now that you've said it.

Very cute story about the hoop earring. Morrissey wore the other hoop on the Oxford Road Show.

As for the hair dye, he's been dyeing his hair black since he was 16 so I doubt he will stop now. I hope I look as good at 51.
