ALO! (Serbian tabloid) mentions skin cancer rumor

Re: Skin cancer rumour

Without even clicking the link...

What does endlessly speculating about what illnesses Morrissey may or may not have accomplish? Nothing. If he wants to divulge anything, he will. Otherwise, it's all just people talking to make themselves feel like they know things they don't.

Re: Skin cancer rumour

I just saw that on Twitter too, where does come from? It's a real interview?

Re: Skin cancer rumour

It comes from a person on twitter who is friends with Liam.

Re: Skin cancer rumour

Is this a real interview or just old information repackaged? He's quoted here saying the doctor said he doesn't have much time left.

Exactly, I saw that original message from the Blue Rose guy before he deleted it, and it said that Moz suffers from skin cancer and that he doesn't have much time left, and he also said that he only leaked it because Moz himself had already revealed it in Serbian media, but I couldn't find that article. Until today. I'm f***ing upset.

Re: Skin cancer rumour

For those that don't know, ALO! is a Serbian tabloid.

Yes, he did say he revealed info in a Serbian article and it would break soon.

The fact that Moz mentioned chemo is upsetting to say the least.

Re: Skin cancer rumour

Nobody has confirmed it's real and the translation was correct. If it is real, we should probably start worrying.

Re: Skin cancer rumour

He's also going to be a dad: http://en.mediamass.net/people/morrissey/pregnancy-rumors.html

Hahahaha! Tabloids!

Don't believe a word anyone says unless those words fall outta the main man's mouth and are cited by a reputable publisher (and aren't overly translated from other languages).

;)

No worries.

Lol, the media mass website is hilarious.

This website is incredibly irresponsible if these are not direct quotes.

However, given his history I think it is natural for fans to care about his well being. So an article mentioning chemotherapy and dying is going to upset people.

I totally understand. Perfectly natural. It sucks...the worrying/anxiety. I wish the news would either set the record straight or drop it completely.

only reputable source is morrissey himself. in an interview. published by the reputable publisher.

'alo' is serbian tabloid and this 'article' is sensationalist compilation of recycled internet-collected rumours, most of them originate from this forum.

it would be disgrace to spend time paying attention to such malicious constructions.

Re: Skin cancer rumour

These might be the real quotes BUT they just arranged them and spiced them up with rumors so that it all seems more "exciting"
They just used some of his quotes about dying and sickness in general and some wild guesses in between and voila.

Add ingredient 1 - his thoughts on death
Add ingredient 2 - there are some rumors that he has skin cancer
Add ingredient 3 - his thoughts on chemo and naturopathy

And there you have your clickbait.

Re: Skin cancer rumour

I'm guessing this will pick up steam tomorrow once everyone wakes up.

It may be tabloid crap, but it will scare fans.

Jesus! :lbf:

'Serbian tabloid' is about as low as you get on the information super highway.

I'll wait for the 'People's Friend' to confirm, thanks.

Re: Skin cancer rumour

Is this "rumour" having eco in more media? If we have to believe that he said that must be have mentioned somewhere else today....
