I always took this to be one of World Peace's 'Fatty' type tracks. A straightforward fun pop song. Nothing too complicated with a great sing along chorus. Not everything by Morrissey needs to be a weighty introspective life changing lyric.

i like the slant smile cleverness in the lyrics and its super joyous almost to the point of happy attack. reminds me of hand in glove. hes gonna kiss him a lot everywhere, all over, no matter whos standing near. whens he young he cant even stand to near to a man he loves and now hes strong and the worlds turned and he can kiss him all over the place when ever he wants.

It's pure 60s chanteuse pop with simple lyrics and melodramatic florishes. You could imagine it being sung by Cilla or Dusty...

Susan Black more like. No. It sounds on a par with Something is Squeezing my skull and People are the same everywhere...dreadful songs.

KMAL is the first Morrissey song I instantly got a choregraphy for in my head. Mad.

Sadly, he sings it very... stiffly indeed (and I don't mean it like that), so it's no surprise he never saw its potential. I do though, and I dearly hope someone on Strictly Come Dancing will make something of it someday.

It was meant to be a hit (with a normal singer).

i think this does show morrisseys growth from the shyness of his youth to the bold and free adult he is now (for those who say hes still the shy teenager talking about angst)
