Well-known Finnish author and essayist Antti Nylén (and also Autobiography's Finnish translator) is working on a photo book centered on Morrissey's old shirt from The Smiths' gig at Provinssirock festival, in Finland, in June 1984.
He asked several people, fans of varying degrees, to wear that shirt, photographed them, and is now compiling a photo book of the pictures. He shot 87 people in total.
The book is to be published early 2015, but it's still in need of, well, money.
You can back up the project on Finnish crowdfunding site Mesenaatti.me. For international funders, there is the option to purchase the book in advance for 45 €. The sum includes postage to any country. More options are available inside Finland.
