"World Peace..." + singles gone from Spotify, iTunes, Amazon

Logged into Spotify this AM to find both version of World Peace, regular and Deluxe, as well as the singles, removed from Spotify.

I bought the CD so I am not worried, it is just another crazy turn in this story.

As referenced in the article Please Close The Door Behind Me - Morrissey statement at TTY and mentioned by several others, digital download / streaming services have removed World Peace Is None Of Your Business (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon).

Regarding iTunes UK, Dothatagain? posted (original post):

It's gone as an album, but if you search "World Peace Is None Of Your Business", all the songs are still there.

What a weird way to deal with a new album. Those primates at Harvest (or whoever is to blame) have a lot to answer for with this mess. The CGI apes from 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' would do a better job. I feel bad for the album not getting the treatment it deserves. I wouldn't mind if it was crap but it is a fantastic album. Oh well, maybe some people will go and buy the CD now, if it is still to be found.

No. they're not. That's your own mp3s that you're seeing show up in your Spotify.

I searched Spotify U.S. and none of the songs from the album are there anymore.

I can still see the album and am listening to it as I type... I haven't got the mp3 files in my computer.

Using the US web based spotify player (no linux app available)... all the songs are gone.

I think that's the most pathetic thing i've ever heard, a professional company with responsibilities to share holders removing a revenue just to spite a disgruntled artist. Someones due an arse kicking.

Really crazy behaviour by Harvest!

For me personally I feel being that oldschool to just listen to CDs and vinyl has its positive aspects....
The stream is gone, the album is still on my shelf.

How is this crazy Harvest behavior. Morrissey's last press release said Harvest no longer had the right to sell the album. What did you expect them to do except stop selling it?

If we keep quiet about this turd (or deny that the pile lying in the grass is a turd), how many shoes will be needlessly ruined? And tracking it into the house is inexcusable. Nay! Grab a green dog-poop bag and "harvest"that shit wherever you see it!
