"Hatful..." in "10 Albums That Close With Their Shortest Song" - Music Times

Nice article. Love that part about The Beatles...how their master tapes got messed up so an album ended on a 30 second song. Very interesting.

10 Albums That Close With Their Shortest Song: The Beatles, The Smiths, And More - Music Times

7. The Smiths - Hatful of Hollow (1984)

Though the Smiths' Hatful of Hollow is a compilation and not a studio album, the decision to place the sub-two minute ballad "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" is still brilliant, ending the album on an ellipsis rather than a period.

Thanks for posting. The only other Moz album I can think of off the top of my head where this is the case is the beautiful There Is A Place In Hell For Me And My Friends for Kill Uncle (though Found Found Found is only seven seconds longer).
