"Introducing Morrissey" DVD to be released in September 2014 - TTY

I thought this already was on DVD.

I never liked this one as much as Live in Dallas. Nothing beats Live in Dallas.

But...the Vauxhall stuff sounds SO much better on this than on the record.

Great new!!!

I've got it on VHS, too, but I haven't watched it in ages. Don't even have a VHS plugged in!

Introducing Morrissey: DVD to be released in September 2014 - true-to-you.net
6 June 2014

In September 2014, Parlophone UK will give the first DVD release of Introducing Morrissey, a film of Morrissey's British concert tour of 1995 which had only previously been available on VHS. The film will be released on DVD format for the first time.

I was wondering when this would finally happen.

Who the hell releases DVDs anymore? This would have looked sweet on Blu-Ray. It was shot on film. I'm assuming that Parlophone UK wouldn't have scanned the original camera negative at 4K, cleaned it up, colour corrected it and then transferred to Blu-Ray. More likely they stuck the VHS in a video/dvd combo machine and hit 'record'.
Better than nowt, I suppose.

Hopefully they release on Blu-Ray!
Regardless, the setlist for this concert tour was amazing.
Looking forward to this.

I seriously detest technology snobs like you. You probably also warble on about how over-produced records are (ouch, did I say 'record'?, who releases records any more?).

End of.

Brilliant. I've got a VHS to DVD conversion copy that a bought on eBay a few years ago but the quality is not great, so I'm really looking forward to this.

this is moz at his absolute peak IMO

from the intro music to the final note of speedway everything is special

will buy

Not keen on the D V D title it suggests that he turns up at gigs.
" Not definite but maybe introducing Morrissey fingers crossed " Sounds more in the reall world of things don't you ?

+1. DVD is outdated, BD is where it's at.

It would have been better if he's sold it to Netflix, it's been more than 150 years since anyone has watched a "DVD " .
