Do you think it's the real deal? In that case, it's a bit dissapointing it doesn't have a photo of Morrissey.

It looks like a mockup. Designers will stage a cover layout before calling in the models, etc. to get a feel for the layout. But maybe not, i can't see how that would wind up on the internet unless there was a huge leak on the design staff. :squiffy:

Or it could be some guy just having fun with designing his own version.

I saw on FB someone mention he's the photographer's (Sam's) brother, which would make him a relative of Morrissey. I have no idea if they're right.

it's morrissey's nephew. he was/is the singer for the band 'noise is the best revenge'. ugh -- i know his name but i'm having a major concrete mind-block.

It does look like Johnny, Morrissey's other nephew, but then I haven't seen any pictures of him in a while.

Definitely a mock-up, given the lack of finesse around the 'I's. Almost looks like the font's defaulted.

That's not to say it couldn't be a test visual for the final cover.

Who knows?

If you look at the left side of the face and draw a line down the middle, the eyebrows, eye and the hair pass as a resemblance to a younger Morrissey.

I've always felt that Morrissey's nephews resemble him - just in different ways.
