Fifteen Minutes with...Julie Hesmondhalgh, actress and Morrissey fan

I've experienced Julies love of Morrissey first hand, so to speak...... going back to last July we were in Heaton Park and we noticed the filming crew around the boating lake, it turned out to be the crew from corrie, I was wearing my white Morrissey T-shirt that day and as we passed the railings Hayley Cropper and Roy came out and walked towards us Julie/Hayley pointed at my T-shirt and shouted "Oh I Love that T-shirt" we just looked at each other and started laughing as she was dressed head to toe in her Hayley get up, red anorak, old lady clothes the lot, and Roy walking next to her in his brown cardie, baggy pants and bag. haha! funny as....

It just looked and sounded very wrong haha..... She did chuckle along though. I suppose she just couldn't resist walking past without passing comment on the Moz. :D

Entertaining interview. I did think that Becky's character changed quite a bit during time on the cobbles. Will Julie interview Julia? It would be nice if Julie could travel outside of the UK for a couple of interviews with Morrissey associates. Also, all these interviews would be really good printed and made into a book.

Lovely.

Would react the same if I saw Morrissey on the escalators in Kendals hahaha

Both Julies are really quite great

Who's the star in that picture?? It appears to be the interviewer. I don't know this actress at all but I LIKE HER! Next time Julie (the interviewer) can pay the guest some respect and stand up?

Yeah, I always thought a Julia interview would be interesting, but then I saw a short one from a '94 Paris in-store signing and she didn't seem too interesting. But hey, you never know.

It's nice meeting someone through a funny interview like that. The recreation of the "all me life!" moment made me chuckle. That's almost made me want to catch up with Corrie! But that'd be like, what, 56748 epidodes? :(

Anyhoo, both Julies seem to be quite interesting and joyful ladies. :) Nice site.
