Complete sweetness. My stepbrother & his girl can go see him in Boston. I hope Moz quickly adds some dates in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for the information.

Re: New US Dates Listed on Ticketmaster

Damn, Richmond already got canceled. Canceled 13 months in advance.

His birthday in Texas. The last birthday show I went to I hung out with a girl and her husband from Texas so I have a couch to sleep on. :p

This annoys me no end. After the book signing in Sweden and the South American tour debacle I just have to comment. I am one of those Salford lads whose club Morrissey used in his conscious appropriation of all things Northern and working class. And yes his lyrics were written from this perspective so there was no implicit conceit at that point YET. Since hitting the big time where is the loyalty to the people formed by and out of the same circumstances? I alas have not managed to break free from the Victorian stabbing streets of Salford yet the connection I made with music stewed and formulated in these streets still keeps me going. Yet the man that crafted those songs has no affiliation to the streets that tempered and steered his artistic insights it seems? I cannot afford to travel beyond the UK and even that is a struggle. Why if he appreciates the plight/existence of the people he grew up amongst does he not understand that those same people find solace in his music and think well maybe I should so to speak throw these people a little light into their grey lives and play a concert they can get to? Yes before anyone chips in I know he will report a slew of dates at some point yet its my town and city that helped produce the music. I have no great love for Salford or Manchester but I have a lot of love for a lot of the people and thats what should count. I am now in rant mode so shall shut up. And yes my grammar etc is poor so don't bother critiquing it. I just want to know why he cares so little about the people of this city when they are in similar circumstances to those which moulded his character. It is not our fault we were born here. I type all this knowing he will not bother with salford in any potential tour intenary yet will haul himself to far flung corners of the globe. I shall now shut up as most of that probably only makes sense to me.

Me and the girl you're talking about actually had dinner recently and talked about that. Maybe I'll finally meet someone else from here.

Did she tell you about the birthday cupcakes and cider in the parking lot? :D They were both so nervous/excited about the show I ended up drinking their cider and was looooooped during the show.

She mentioned the vegan cupcakes. Well whenever I visit Dallas I'll usually have drinks with her and her husband before a show so I'm sure we'll all have a good time.

They weren't vegan but it sounds like a plan.

Are these the same random dates that have been showing up on Spotify for a longtime now?

Correcton:--No they are not. Spotify has been (and still is) listing Morrissey as being at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas Texas on February 18, but this is very clear not true. I have no idea why that keeps popping up on Spotify

Maybe we should send someone to queue on Saturday just in case. :D

Professional Northerner ahoy.

Manchester, Salford, indeed the whole UK, has no more or less right to Morrissey gigs than any other part of the world

You have a short memory don't you ? When Tossirrey was last in town he had a rant about how he was given a stupid key in a box, the key to the freedom of Tel Aviv and then asked the audience what Manchester had offered him ? He then exclaimed "Nothing" !!!!!! You need to wise up to the tosser if you aint giving you aint getting, he hates all things British at the minute, he seems to prefer hanging around with his chum Braindamage in the comfort of their L A penthouses plotting the downfall of the British establishment, the British Monarchy, the British Government etc. Funny thing is he used to work for the Inland Revenue !
If we are to give the tosser anything it should be the same treatment as Guy Fawkes.
