Matt James of Gene mentions Morrissey's "Autobiography" when asked who band would like to punch

UPDATE Nov. 15:

As mentioned by ASLEF shrugged in the comments, the "Autobiography" mention is actually part of the question, not the answer.

Matt James of Gene answers the question "Who the band would most like to punch in the music industry?" by replying "...I've just read the Moz autobiography (laughs). I'm not into punching anyone but if Simon Cowell happened to slip on a strategically placed banana skin, fall and hurt himself I wouldn't be that bothered." (3:40 mark)

I might be wrong but I think the line "Not the most interesting question but I've just read the Moz autobiography" is part of the question rather than Matt James's answer.

This. He was probably laughing at how Morrissey took a few punches of his own since he just read it and couldn't think of who he'd punch Autobiography style, not that he'd punch Morrissey. Then he came up with an easy target, Simon Cowell. Fun with syntax.

Actually .. the tragic thing about Gene is that they clearly had one truly great LAST album in them. It never surfaced, but if you listen to the unreleased 'Baby, I'm Sorry' and 'Rising for Sunset', they were shifting their sonic terrain and moving even further away from the Smithsy early stuff. I really can't help feeling there's an album missing there somehwere. What a shame. Still, Martin's solo effort was a belter

It was called "Libertine."
