I am glad he finally divulged his sexual preference, he deserves to be with someone and not hide it. If he is not attracted to woman, he is not. He makes it quite plain. I would like to finally see him with someone, he seems so lonely. Love you, Morrissey♡

I wonder what the certain people that have disappeared from the forums who refuse to even consider that Jake and Moz were together at one point are saying now.

Not to burst your bubble - hr also admitted a relationship with a Tina - which included making babies

Haha I know. But good for Moz if he's comfortable enough to finally share this officially.

I wonder if On the Streets (Iran?) was a nod to her. :sweet: I heart romance even if it's trapped in a song about thugs.

one thing is sure she's not skinny [no not you P. I wouldn't dare]

'and they say he's mentall' ... you're the one for me fatty...[that's why he was playing it on his latest tour, european part for sure]

I'm finishing Ulysses, now I'm off to Morrissey's Penguin ClassicAutobiography? Who else but Morrissey, in spite of those recent critics, could offer a sense of continuity from James Joyce or any of the greatest? Fan as I am, the prime reason I want his book is that I'm dying for something both contemporary and as well akin to something from around the eras of Joyce, Wilde, Waugh, Maugham, Bulgakov etc. I love the man himself, merely I love what he's got to offer at about a similar level. Master or otherwise, it promises to be overwhelming, love it or hate it; 'classic in the making' or not, Morrissey's already esconced in Wilde's bosom, then he's golden in my own personal opinion. Tradition means quite everything in books, whereas all the crap released today by the major publishing houses is meant to somehow appeal to folks with no regard for literature in any century, while you had those in the 19th century at least clever enough to understand when a genius entered the room, hence the name-recognition.

It's a poor business practice to market books to every person who won't buy them. At least prostitutes make money -- even offering a little something in return. Some would call it a transaction. This is the reason I've loved Morrissey, for his very act of literacy -- thank his mother. And aligned with history, even those with scarce experience with anything prior to the internet (I like the internet) will say, "For once I've found something beyond my expectations, completely alien to me, but to be overwhelmed by something and yet pleased, is sex itself." Even 'stupid' people want to know what they're missing sometimes. It was Morrissey himself who warned against underestimating the intelligence of anyone, in particular your audience.

He like thick girls? - sound the alarm !!!!

If you didn't know Morrissey and Jake had a thing for one another I don't even know what to tell you. I think the Morrissey butthole picture (Your Arse-nal) was a dead giveaway.

So Jake Walters and Jake Owen are the same person? Is that settled once and for all? I know there was quite a bit of debate about that on here and elsewhere, and the general consensus was that one Jake was a professional photographer and the other was a former boxer who accompanied Morrissey everywhere/pretended to be his personal assistant and lazy journalist confused/merged together the two.

But given that the Guardian referred to him as "Jake Owen Walters" does that settle it?

And given the cat photograph that means there still in contact?

I haven't read it, but from the reviews I've seen it seems like Morrissey doesn't go so far as "outing" himself or saying that he and Jake were lovers

But it's strongly implied.

Tonight I'd very much love to give Jake a brotherly hug. Well. Not quite brotherly. ;)

For all it's worth, I'm sorry. Although I still don't know precisely why, as nobody will tell me.

Be well. :)

In a mild no threatening I have a brainstem and act like it kind of way

Now the question is what Tina looks like ?? Anyone

She's not his current girlfriend. Not sure who he's with now, seen mentions that it's the hairdresser in the acknowledgments.

Our Moz was almost captured by Tijuana extortionists and murderers! Why did he never tell us about it?!

Explains the increased muscle in the subsequent tours there.

To be perfectly frank, this really has tarnished Morrissey's image for many loyalists. Many people suspected the revealed items in the book, but that was part of his allure. For those fawning over his revelations, he really is a coward at the highest level. He still doesn't have the nads to come out and say what everyone knows.
