This is my third time seeing Morrissey (Terminal 5, BAM) and it was a great show. It's hard to say which show was the best, as they were all good.

The audience was really great tonight, but there was a heckler who yelled during Meat Is Murder "But It's Delicious." Morrissey walked offstage after that and I was somewhat afraid he wasn't coming back. But he did. To play possibly the best encore of "How Soon is Now?"

The audience really makes a difference at a live concert and at BAM everyone (at least in my section) just say in their chair and checked their iPhone. People tonight really got into the show, shouting, singing along, and standing. Morrissey interacted with the audience more than I've seen him do before.

I don't remember the setlist in order, but I know he played both "Please Let Me Get What I Want" and "I Know it's Over." He also did (in no particular order) "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris," "Shoplifters of the World Unite," "Black Clouds," "Everyday is Like Sunday," "People are the Same Everywhere," "Maladjusted," "Speedway," "Still Ill," "Let Me Kiss You," "Meat is Murder," "Alma Matters," "People are the Same Way Everyone," "Action is My Middle Name," and of course "How Soon is Now?" Speedway was one of the highlights.

Other than Scandinavia and Arthounds, which the Moz seems to have forgotten about, I wasn't too keen on the new songs, but they've started to grow on me hearing them live. I am really starting to dig "Action is My Middle Name" though I don't know if "Can I interest you in hours of fun?" is the Moz's best lyrical moment.

Kristeen Young was well....Kristeen Young. You either like her or you don't.

Was great -- first time I got up close. Hand shake/grab at the very end -- tweaked his very soft fingers and I think he rolled his eyes. In ecstasy of course ;~}... Great night!!

:D So did I!

I'd been hoping to get up on stage and give him a hug, but the audience was pretty sedated (even though it really was a low stage, not much preventing you from climbing up) so I was scared to break the trend. Until the last song, when someone tackled Morrissey in a bad way and then got thrown to the ground quite violently, and after that there was no way I was going up. Oh well. I got to hold his hand and give him a note.

Why do people feel the need to bowl him over ??????? Just a quick hug and enjoy the moment ! Thanks for the details sammka ! Your probably better off to keep off the stage if Moz just got done taking a hit and security feeling pissed because they trusted a fan to be polite and got crossed .

What happened was the fan got close enough to Morrissey to touch him, but security started dragging him away before he'd gotten to hug him. So instead of just struggling against security, he grabbed Morrissey's arm and tried to yank him closer. SMH.

Only one other person went up on stage, rather early on in the performance. And that was ok.

Was a great show and my first time seeing him. It was even better than I was expecting and I enjoyed every minute of it. The set list, the band, everything was perfect. Morrissey sounded great. I was next to Chip during the show and even from the back row of the orchestra level it was amazing. Crowd was very good and I hope I get to see him again! Was scared that he wasn't coming back out after walking off Meat is Murder, but How Soon Is Now was probably the best I've ever seen. The lighting effects were amazing. Other highlights (for me) were Speedway and Please Please Please, and I also really enjoyed Ouija Board Ouija Board. Alma Matters great to hear as well. New songs are favorites of mine as well and they nailed those as well. Overall just a great experience! :guitar:

Two invasions, by my count. One midway; one late. The second guy did drag Morrissey further from his mike than seemed right, but of course Moz played it to fun effect. What bothered me was when the stagehand rolled him off the stage, the people standing up front just stepped away and let him drop to the floor. Nice.

The first invasion was during Still Ill and I could swear it was the same woman who hugged Morrissey during November Spawned a Monster at BAM,but I am certain I must be wrong. Second was during the encore and he grabbed Moz's arm and was slammed down quite hard be security.

So far the least number of invasions I've seen during a Morrissey concert.

Did he say anything during the silent part of the song Speedway ? Like part of a Smiths song ? Glad to hear you all had such a great time. His voice (plus the band) sound super on the video . How Soon Is Now is a great selection for the final song.

I saw 2 stage invasions. The 1st was midway though and perfectly fine. The 2nd was during the encore when then dude front left decided to run at morrissey like a crazed fan and grab him hard. Within seconds his security man on the left had him in what looked an un-moveable headlock before throwing him to the stage floor and removing him from the stage into the front row. all looked quiet violent but assholle fans like him could of hurt the great man so it was a security job well done,

many highlights of a great night.

The audience was really great tonight, but there was a heckler who yelled during Meat Is Murder "But It's Delicious." Morrissey walked offstage after that and I was somewhat afraid he wasn't coming back.

The hecklers were Gustavo's in-laws (as they all told everyone within earshot) and they were HORRENDOUS dicks. Stinking drunk, one fell over and knocked a girl down, while an audience member in front of them turned around and asked them to shut the hell up. And that was all before the show had even started. Another of them took advantage of the quiet parts to shout out progressively more jaw-droppingly embarrassing heckles. It went from "WE LOVE MARYLAND!" to "HOW'S YOUR MOTHER? SAY HI TO YOUR MOTHER!" to WHERE'S JOHNNY MARR? REFORM THE SMITHS!" (during the musical intro before Please Please Please) and finally "BUT THEYRE SO DELICIOUS!" (during the dramatic pause during Meat is Murder) and "MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!" (before the encore). Morrissey heard and acknowledged, heckling back to them from the stage, but they were too drunk to understand they were being made fun of or that the "f*** you"s coming from other irritated fans meant they should shut their traps.

It really did seem uncertain that Moz would even return for the encore. Gustavo, please tell your in-laws to stay home until they learn some manners.

What did Morrissey say back to them? He should have passed the mic to Gustavo and said, "Tell your f***ing in-laws to shut it!"

Mainly his usual trick of mimicking the heckler's voice with unintelligible noises, and saying "Huh?" and "Que?" I'm not sure Morrissey would've had any way to know the hecklers were related to Gustavo.

I would [well, it's not possible but that's another story told dozens of times] feel embarressed, if I would stand ,near those people shouting idot
words, and if they planned to stay, I would gladly move a few rows away or back

It wasnt that [name removed from post by request] from [location removed by request] again was it? She is an attention seeker and tries to get on stage every gig then brags about it to everyone! That photo of her in BAM during 'November' on stage pulling Moz is pathetic as Moz doesn't look happy :-(
