It's good to see Morrissey out and about...

Singer Morrissey is seen leaving the Soundgarden concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

LOL...I clicked in the link to Zimbio and there was a game, who would make a better father- Gene Simmons or Morrissey...that's a difficult one there. Morrissey crooning the kids to bed with "The hand That Rocks The cradle" or Gene blowing fire...I chose Moz, but it took me a few seconds. Fire's cool.

Well that explains everything. The reason newer Morrissey's stuff is half baked hard rock, is he fell in love with grunge (at least he could like Alice In Chains, who used to have talent), and nu-metal (he was also seen at a Deftones concert some time ago).

What happened to young Morrissey's taste? He used to love glam rock, and post punk, and weird indie stuff. How could his taste evolve into stuff frat boys daterape girls too? So sad!

This is going to sound pathetic... like a celeb magazine... but he's lost weight and looks great on it.

You mean to tell me that Morrissey, just like any other person, may have a different taste in music to yourself? Well this is an outrage! Get the president on the phone, something needs to be done about this! What you should do, is you should find every single person in the world who has a different taste in music to yourself and you should let them know just how sad and wrong they are. Every.single.one. Go!

Wouldn't it be great to go to a concert and find out the person seated next to you is Morrissey?

I'm not calling you a liar or anything but can someone please please confirm that Moz once went to a Deftones concert? This is something I would love to have validated.

It's not about having a different taste, its about having a poor taste. With Deftones, well, they are fairly critically acclaimed, at least out of their genre. Soundgarden are mediocre at best, they aren't gonna be on any top albums of the year's lists. If Morrissey liked something heavy Opeth that would be a good thing. I like every genre (for the most part), the problem is if you are Morrissey you should be liking bands that are The Smiths of their genre, not the Maroon 5.

Yeah his musical taste is atrocious. I never cared for the New York Dolls and all that glam shit, but this 90s drivel makes it look like Mozart.

To me, it can't be logically reconciled with someone who also likes the perfection of early 60s girl group tunes.

Oh of course...musical popular culture peaked in the 60s, and it's been all downhill from there. Why the very idea of his earbuds getting soiled by all that 90s drivel...it's just not civilized, I tell you!
