St Petersburg, Russia gig cancelled

Just heard today that Monday's gig has been cancelled, I feel sick to the stomach. Promoters were playing around with ticket prices for ages, with prices going as high as 3000 RUR ($120), now the venue is saying that Moz's management has called it off - no news yet about refunds etc...

Despite some healthy promotion of the gig in the city, I suspect that poor ticket sales might be to blame...aside from ex-pats, there's not much Moz interest here.

    I feel sorry for the people who traveled for that gig. Hope that the hassle of getting visas etc wasn't too bad. I can't imagine how awful that is for you all.

          I love the mans music and always will but, it would appear the days of live are over whether he(or we) wants to admit it. I'm not knocking him, being in the industry myself I can tell you eventually it can just feels like a job and some times you just gotta call it quits.

                  I just talked to a friend who are working in Light Music, the promoter's company, and the gig is NOT cancelled!!! right now they are installing speakers and preparing to the soundcheck!
