As a massive Smiths fan myself, the main reason why I picked up the guitar in the first place, my band Shelta are supporting Mike on the night, tickets only Ł10 and can be obtained from myself.

Just as Morrissey has mentioned previously, Mike Joyce waits at the stage door around some gigs with an empty sack to demand he gets paid concert fees, despite the fact he has NOTHING to do with Morrissey's current UK tour or solo career.

Morrissey:
"7. Since 2001, and because of the Default Judgment against me, Joyce has taken out Third Party Orders against the following societies: my personal bank account in England, Smiths royalties from Warner Music, my personal PRS royalties, my personal PPL royalties, and he has attempted to seize UK concert fees from venue to venue. This money, to date, totals 700 thousand pounds. This figure is in addition to the figures mentioned above."

Brixton, "Jamn" (Score:1)

I was at Jamn for a "CARTER USM" after-gig-party in November 2007 and I saw an advertisement that Mike would play a set the next night but unfortunately my hotel was really very far from Brixton and I was very sad that I didn't make it to meet in person with Mike and didn't have the chance to fulfill my dream of speaking to the 75% of the Smiths (Have spoken to Morrissey and Andy before)

How about growing up - "Mike Gross is disgusting" - what sort of child are you?

The Smiths were the greates band to come out of the UK (or anywhere for that matter) and comments like this just sully their name.

Whether you like the guy or not, he was an awesome drummer and anyone who thinks that Andy and Mike were just making up the numbers is delusional.

Rightly or wrongly, the guy thought he was unfairly treated, went to court and won his case. The Moz should have paid up like Johnny did and that would have been the end of it.

Personally I wouldn't be going to his show as I have no real interest in DJ's but I would be delighted to meet any member of The Smiths given the chance.

Finally, the guy deserves to earn a living whichever way he chooses and who are you to deny him that?
