On Friday May 22nd Steven Patrick Morrissey turns 50 years old. And, in the grand tradition of Pittsburgh tribute/cabaret shows, we'll be playing Morrissey/Smiths covers at Brillobox (4104 Penn Ave), but wait, that's not all! Vipers Soul Club DJ Gordy will be stopping by to spin Morrissey influences (60s girl group, 70s glam, etc.). After the bands wrap, the night will transform into a dance party. If that ain't enough, all proceeds go to Animal Friends, our favorite local no kill animal shelter.
