Stefan Krix writes:
Still no sign of the remastered version of Maladjusted, which was announced in late October 2008, but now HMV.com as the first online store is taking pre-orders for the other remastered & redesigned release, the expanded version of Southpaw Grammar.

The UK release will hit the shops on 2nd March 2009 via BMG Records.

A good question - either to keep the Dagenham Dave single the official no.1 collectors item (of the normal releases...) with an elsewhere unavailable track (after Oh, Well I've Never Learn from the Suedehead single was released on the first singles box?) or just because Moz doesn't like it anymore?

        Or bad memory of BMG.

I'm normally quite critical of remastered music, since it often falls victim to the Loudness War and sounds worse than the original. Not to mention that sometimes there are serious editing errors (the latest Cure remasters are missing bits and pieces on certain songs, which ruins it completely for me).

However, most people aren't buying it for the sound, but the unreleased tracks (which do look VERY interesting).

the 'Maladjusted' remastered I hope is on the way
I'v heard there are a couple of good songs omitted
although that's all Maladjusted had (few good songs)
why he ever left off- "I can have both or "lost"
"now iam a was" is a mystery to begin with

This is one re-release I may actually buy...but where is "You Must Please Remember"? That is an absolute gem...I have it on the DD single, but shouldn't it be on here? Silly.
