MASS KARAOKE EVENT: GIGI’S GEN X SINGALONG, VOL 1: THE SMITHS, RETURNS, TO BAR 13.

(New York, NY) – On December 7th, 2008, the Cinema Gnome will present a celebration of the music and culture of the Reagan-Bush I era, Gigi’s Gen-X Singalong is for anyone who has spent a few too many evenings sitting around listening to their old cassette tapes. Please join us for a remount of our initial program (which premiered at Pianos earlier this year), featuring ten original videos based on the songs from the Smiths’ 1986 album “The Queen is Dead.” This encore performance kicks off production on the much anticipated second installment of the series featuring the Violent Femmes. Is it a film screening or a live performance? YES!

It’s a dance party…it’s a film festival…it’s a movement. It’s also $FREE!$
