Jeremy Vine was great, he sang Jeane with me at the end of the show. The team consisted of forum members Uncleskinny (Peter), Almareallymatters (Tess), TLOTFamousIP (Kraig), Kitty3780 (Hayley) and JukeboxJury (Phill).

Great team name - inspired thinking from you guys!

I do hope you won - I find those Egghead folks so unbearably smug, especially when they announce an answer that the opposition failed to get or when they show off their pub-triv abilities and unnecessarily expand their answers in a boastful manner.

Mind you, Judith Keppel has a strange attractive quality. Or perhaps that's just cos we know she's a (smug) millionnairess! ;-)

Although the Uncle Skinny gave a rather big clue to the result in his write up...

Please don't hate me for my shocking admission on my music question... I didn't have time to explain... I meant to say "I like some of these bands early work, and the rock band are just good fun, though I don't own any of theirs obviously."

i know Phil and our Uncle from other pics on this
site, but but who are those standing, they didn't seem like the average Morrissey though we all aged, but dying hair from grey to blonde is
more 60's, I supose that the others were
Middle of the Road team, or the Sweet, Mud maybe

As ever, a scattering of suspiciously simple questions ensure that the Eggheads are more than likely to win...

Uncle Skinny, you gave them a run for their money and you kept your dignity too, whereas the Eggheads just looked like big-heads and show-offs. They have no humility at all. Loathsome, smug people!

But I loved Jeremy Vine's recall of Smiths' lyrics - cool!
