On her long awaited new album, British singer Marianne Faithfull covers a Morrissey song "Dear God Please Help Me".

This double CD album will also include songs originally from Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Dolly Parton or BRMC, along with duets with guys like Keith Richards, Jarvis Cocker and Antony.

But look out, the Moz cover is on the second CD, not available on the single CD classic version.

    Didn't Morrissey say that the first record he ever bought was 'Come and stay with with me' by Marianne Faithfull? If Morrissey ever recorded a song of mine I think my head would explode.

      As for the new record: its title is EASY COME EASY GO and it will come out in November.

      All in French, I know. But as Marianne lives in Paris since 2004 and as her manager/bf is French...

      Pretty curious about this album and especially also about the duet with Keith Richards! ;-)
