An anonymous person writes:

Just noticed a small mention in yesterday's Daily Star on Sunday, where Joe Mott opens a piece on the new Mamma Mia film with the words... 'The singer and prat Morrissey has always been Number 1 on the list of people I wouldn't pass personal water on if they were aflame and requesting dousing.

But now he has a challenger and Mott goes on about Pierce Brosnan... Just in case anyone doesn't agree with Joe Mott he can be reached at the following email address... joe.mott@dailystar.co.uk

I hear that in your wonderful and considered piece of recent journalistic excellence you decided to have a pop at both Morrissey and Peirce Brosnan.

Well, I just wonder what you have ever done that will be viewed in years to come as a work of art?

Both Morrissey and Mr. Brosnan can look back when they retire on careers that were creative and, though occasionally a film or album may have missed the mark somewhat, that they have brought pleasure to many legions of fans worldwide. mmmm, can the same be said for you?

I am sure neither Morrissey nor Mr. Brosnan would give you the steam from their "Personal water!" let alone the water itself.

"Journalists who lie, stealing the money, prospering with spite, hate in a hurry." Ah it could have been written in your honour.
