I published a short extract from the chapter, "Morrissey: Gide The Ripper" of my forthcoming autobiography on MySpace. Regrettably, someone disabused my trust and submitted it to this site.
Such is the snatch & grab, baggage reclaimcarousel of life.
However, I would like to thank the well-wishers who have contacted me with messages of support and kindness. Thank you.
There has been much nonsense and conjecture written about Morrissey over the years.
It is no wonder. He is the most important, most enigmatic Pop artist of the 20th-century and, thusfar, this.
But assumptions often make a fool of one.
I care not one iota for the tales that circulate about me personally -- nor regarding my friendship with Morrissey.
I am 47 and merely grateful to have found a reliable source of fresh winter vegetables.
I am not in touch with Morrissey's organisation, neither am I influenced. I am my own person.
The book is being edited by a close friend (and popular colourist) Abigail Lawson, and will hopefully be released after the ink has dried on a contract that allows me to spend a much-needed Christmas in Montevideo.

If you post something online, then it's assumed you don't care that people see it, right? In fact, you want them to see it!! Why does he care that someone (probably not even someone he knows which is another reason why I don't understand his statement) re-posted it here. A LOT more Moz fans know about his book now than if it was just on his MySpace!
