This is not exactly Morrissey related, but there is the thinnest of connections of course.

This is great news for all, like me, who were sad when Mr Loehr was forced to shut his doors not too long ago.

Great news,,, (Score:1)
I visited the museum in the original location in '88 or '89. The charming, small town location suited Dean's Indiana farm town origins.

Congratulations to Loehr!

I lived in Indiana for 25 years before I moved to Texas. I remember when I first watched the Suedehead video that was filmed in Indiana. My friends and I about fell onto the floor. We couldn't beleive he had been in our state to make the video.

FYI- back then you could still see Smiths and morrissey videos on MTV during the day and during prime time! We were so mad we didn't hear of the video shoot.

Remember, back then there was no interet or cell phones so there was no way of getting such information quickly. It was still a great time to be alive... as is now!

It's a fantastic trip, a lovely place. Lenny and David are EXTREMELY nice people, and going there is like going back in time...but not cheesy-retro. It's very untouched, very beautiful.

The James Dean memorabilia is very tastefully done, there are many antique shops, and Lenny has a shop called Rebel Rebel which is fantastic...tons of pop culture artifacts.

He sold me a GIGANTIC Strangeways poster once.

for David. Glad to hear people can visit this historic small town gallery again. I enjoyed my stop back in the late 80's early 90's!!
