On NPR's "All Things Considered" on Sunday, they were interviewing Kaki King, who cited Morrissey as one of her new album's influences and called herself a huge fan. I thought I could hear what might be a Marr influence (instrumentally) as well, albeit unusual. Maybe that's not newsworthy, but I thought I'd mention it. Here's the link.
