You may have seen mention of KT Tunstall covering Everday Is Like Sunday at an in-store session; she gave a great performance of the song last Friday at the Hammersmith Apollo, and it can be seen here...

  • Hey guys and gals,

This cover is a gem, but why can't artists cover more of Morrissey's obscure or lesser known songs? What did you think of 10,000 Maniacs' cover? Any thoughts?

  • Not to be mean to katie because she's obviously a fan but The Pretenders cover is hands down the best!

  • the guitar sounds great, and its beautifully sung.
never heard Katie mention Moz in interview before though.
would be intriguing to hear Moz do 'unplugged' versions of his own songs...

  • OMG, this is bad!

  • It is massively poor.
She tries about four different strum patterns, not one of which is right.
That said, I've always found it a peculiarly difficult song to get right - strange as it has so few chords.

  • it's bloody awful. too many people are too easily pleased these days.

  • Much better than the Pretender's dreary version.
Katie brings an extra dimension to the song...

  • K.T. Tunstill is everything that is wrong with music today. Bland & Fucking boring, bring back Siouxsie Sioux who is currently touring a great new album that cam out late last year.
